IN-SHOP TIERED SERVICES
We service all makes and models including Apple products. Here are our tiered services for our most frequently used services. We charge a flat labor rate for these services regardless of how long it takes, plus the cost of parts. Our customers enjoy the benefits of knowing the labor charges up front! We encourage you to contact us to get a price quote for your specific needs.
FREE: EVALUATION WHILE YOU WAIT
FREE: RAM UPGRADE AND INSTALL
Memory must be purchased from Cantrell’s Computer Sales & Service at the time of installation. We request you leave your system for two hours minimum for installation and testing.
(Tier 1): DIAGNOSTICS, REPAIR AND INSTALL, FULL TUNE-UP
Includes Full Tune-up Service – Case Cleaning, System Integrity Check (hdd, memory, cpu, optical, cables), and Optimization. Also includes Hardware and Software Diagnostics, Break/Fix, Windows updates, Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware update & Recommended Upgrades. Customer approval is needed for additional charges for EXTENSIVE REPAIR and/or OPERATING SYSTEM RELOAD if Full Tune-Up cannot repair errors.
(Tier 2): OPERATING SYSTEM RELOAD
Complete re-installation of operating system, including drivers, latest service packs and hotfixes, and any applicable antivirus/antispyware protection or software purchased from CCS&S. Note: This procedure REMOVES EVERYTHING from the hard drive – operating system, personal information and settings, programs, files, and any viruses or spywares. This service also includes all Tier 1 Service items. We also perform the basic install for all applications purchased from us, including anti-virus software.
(Tier 3): EXTENSIVE REPAIR & VIRUS/SPYWARE REMOVAL
If Full Tune-Up (Tier 1) is unable to correct all software damage issues. Includes all Tier 1 Service items, all Tier 2 Service items, plus basic data transfer up to one (1) hour. Please Note: Installed Software/Programs/Applications typically do not transfer!
IN-SHOP HOURLY SERVICES
Sometimes we are unable to provide tiered pricing rates for some of our services due to the unique nature of each computer system setup.

OTHER SERVICES
We provide on-site services to locations in Contra Costa County and beyond, including Concord, Martinez, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, and Pleasant Hill.
ON-SITE DESKTOP & LAPTOP COMPUTER SERVICE
Minimum Charge One (1) Hour. Additional time charged in 15 minute increments.
REMOTE SERVICE: We log in to your computer with your permission.
Minimum Charge 1/2 HOUR. Additional time charged in 15 minute increments.
DATA BACK-UP SERVICES
Data Back-up Services are available to those customers who need to have their critical information backed-up completely, and securely. There are numerous back-up options available – call us to schedule a consultation!
$80 EXPRESS/EMERGENCY SERVICE
Express Service is available to those customers who are unable to wait for the normal turnaround time for repairs to their systems. This service charge places the customer’s system on the next available bench. This charge, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE, is added to the cost of the repair above and beyond the price of the regular service charge. $80.00/each system.
$99 APPOINTMENT SERVICE
Pay in advance will hold your spot in the queue. This charge DOES apply to service labor and parts.
PICKUP/DELIVERY SERVICE
Trip fee for one-way travel, LESS than 10 miles. Call us to arrange a pickup outside this distance.
Miscellaneous Service Charge is 1/2 Hour; if not listed above.
