The 43rd Annual Community Awards will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at the new Community Center in Pleasant Hill.  We are honored to have been nominated for “Business Person of the Year.”

“Wade and Betty Cantrell of Cantrell’s Computer Sales & Service have been leaders in Pleasant Hill for decades.  Wade’s leadership with the Chamber of Commerce since 1997 has helped advance the Chamber to a higher level – national accreditation, paying off the office mortgage, membership growth and savings in the bank.  His embracing the BNI philosophy of Givers Gain has led to Cantrell’s Computer Sales and Service hosting Added-Value Workshops that benefit both the community and other service professionals.  Wade and Betty volunteer at many local events and have been instrumental in advancing the Pleasant Hill Baseball Association, Pleasant Hill Community Foundation and the schools of Pleasant Hill.  Cantrell’s Computer Sales and Service have been recognized with many prior awards and are certainly also deserving of Business Person of the Year.”
